About Prolife Fertility Care

Hi everyone! And welcome to Prolife Fertility Care. My name is Megan Blum, and I a Catholic wife, mom, and physician assistant providing restorative reproductive medicine to adolescents and women and their spouses located in North Carolina through telehealth. I am one of the many Catholic medical providers practicing with My Catholic Doctor. I started this blog and website as a way to spread the good news about pro-life, fertility medicine and to connect with current and future patients.

I aim to help my patients restore, optimize, and protect their ovulatory menstrual cycles. Ovulation is important and is a key indicator of proper hormone balance. Proper hormone balance ensures best metabolic, endocrine, reproductive, bone, brain, and heart health. It also provides a better success rate of conception and helps to reduce the risk of miscarriage. Additionally, after ovulatory menstrual cycles have ceased, I work to balance hormones to better manage menopause symptoms. I have special training in both the FEMM and Marquette Method, and I am a medical consultant for both.

My Catholic faith is very important to me, and thus, my practice is pro-life. God created all life and each individual should be treated with the appropriate dignity, respect, and care. Great care is taken to provide the best health care for moms, dads, unborn babies, women, adolescents, and elderly women. My practice seeks to find the root causes of fertility, endocrine, and metabolic challenges to provide hopeful and holistic solutions.

I graduated from Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. My undergraduate studies were completed at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC where I studied English and Human Biology with a minor in genetics. I love to translate medical knowledge for lay people through medical blogging and journalism. You can find my writings on this blog and on the My Catholic Doctor blog. I am so happy you are here, and I cannot wait to see how I can help. I’m praying for you!

Blessings,

Megan E. Blum, PA-C
